I am a local IL/MO business man who founded two companies and we have been going strong for 24 years now. For the last year I have been looking for some kind of foundation to join because I’d like to give back to the community for all it has done for me. I’ve known Jen for some time now and have been watching her start this from the beginning. The energy and excitement surrounding Jen and Team Gateway To A Cure’s link with the Michael J. Fox Foundation peaked my curiosity, which led me to research foundations in the area and I knew I’d found the one. One of my first jobs out of college was a professional music career. I was the music director, event coordinator, and musician for the St. Louis Blues Hockey Organization. Being replaced after three seasons by CD music, the time of my life was over but not done. I’ve now reestablished myself as a Blues Alumni and my efforts will be towards bringing the Blues together with the Michael J. Fox Foundation and TGTC. It’s nice to be involved with something that makes you feel good inside and watching the smile you put on people’s faces is worth more than all the money in the world. I am extremely proud to be a part of this group of excellent people and we WILL find a cure.
